Birkacre Nurseries is in an ideal location near to the entrance of Yarrow Valley Country Park (Birkacre) and has a fabulous selection of plants, trees, garden furniture and gardening accessories (in fact all things garden) for you to see and buy. The restaurant Cameron's (also award winning) serves fabulous food and has nice staff. You can take your own wine and they will cork it for you (for free).

Staff at Camerons Restaurant, in Birkacre garden centre, were once again crowned the Greatest Catering Team in the whole of the UK in this years Greatest Garden Centre Catering awards.

Birkacre is a large garden center that includes a small children's play area to the back, a large indoor shop and an award winning restaurant.
The restaurant which I have visited a few times serves jacket potatoes, soup,sandwiches and a large selection of fresh cakes. All of which are lovely, however the price is quite steep - roughly £6 for a sandwich which comes with a salad on the side.
The nursery itself is the best part, with a large selection of indoor and outdoor plants, which are well looked after and seem to do really well when planted at home.By f_houghton242 at 21:20 on 17/02/10
