Why I like Chorley

I grew up in Chorley where i attended both St Gregories infant and primary schools and i spent a brief 6 months at Parklands. In 1974 i was taken to Cornwall when my family moved there. I visit Chorley every other year because i have family in and around Chorley and its in my blood and always will be.

Why I don't like Chorley

Market Streets empty shops the rough looking state of Bolton road and parts of Pall Mall. I hate to see historical buildings in Chorley either demolished and turned into some disgusting architectural mess. This i have seen happen so many times in Chorley that now i have come to expect it. I nearly cried when i saw the paddling pool in Astley park had been removed, i spent a lot of time playing there as a little child.
