Anise is selling real fur products, thought it was an ethical shop!

Myself and I expect most people locally have shopped at Anise believing it to be a highly ethical company. They sell crystals, Buddhas, angels, spiritual CDs etc. They are selling very cheap tatty mittens trimmed with real fur. These are obviously imported, probably from China and the fur looks like cat fur. As most people know, in China cats are skinned alive for their fur, their bodies then thrown into piles where they lie for hours in agony before they die. Whatever animal the fur is from it will have met a grisly end. I politely and quietly raised my concerns the co-owner of the shop who was rude and told me that she just sold them. I e mailed the owner who says that he won't stock any more fur products but insisits upon selling these mittens as he will lose money! He has lost my custom and that of many of my friends. Very angry and disappointed, expected better. This is letting Chorley down. I hope that other people will also complain.
